How long do they burn?

  • Our firelogs will burn up to 3 hours.

How much smoke do they produce?

  • Enviro-Log firelogs will produce less smoke than wood. The amount of smoke is determined by many factors such as airflow and moisture in the air.

Is there any odor?

  • There will normally be a slight smell like a candle when you first light one of our firelogs. After the firelog is fully burning there is very little odor.

What are Enviro-Log Firelogs made from?

  • Enviro-Log Firelogs are made from recycled waxed cardboard boxes that are used to transport food. Everything about these boxes is Food Grade. The wax that covers them is the highest grade wax available so that it is safe for fresh food to be packed in them. We do not add any additional petroleum products or binders to our firelogs.

What makes them Earth Friendly?

  • Our firelogs are made from 100% recycled product. Wax Cardboard Boxes are one of the largest contributors to landfills and can take up to fifty years to decompose. Our logs also produce less emissions than firewood. (View Product Comparison)

Why can I not find your products in stores year round?

  • Most retailers consider firelogs as a seasonal item. (store locator) They will generally carry firelogs from September through March or April. You can always order our firelogs from our website. (Order Now)

Why do they take longer to light than the firelogs I have been using?

  • Enviro-Log does not add any petroleum products to our firelogs to act as an accelerant. Most of your wax-sawdust type firelogs will have a strip of an added petroleum product to speed up the lighting. We recommend removing our firelog from the wrapper and using it as kindling to help with lighting or firelogs. Please follow our lighting instructions on our wrapper for safe and quick lighting of our firelogs.
