ENVIRO-LOG TO PARTICIPATE IN WHOLE FOODS MARKET EARTH DAY CELEBRATION IN BRASELTON GEORGIA

ATLANTA, Ga. – April 23, 2015 – Enviro-Log®, Inc., an eco-friendly, consumer products and recycling company, is pleased to announce that it will participate in the Whole Foods Market® Earth Day Celebration being held at the Whole Foods Market distribution center, located at 211 BDC Parkway in Braselton, Ga. on Saturday, April 25 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Enviro-Log will showcase its earth-friendly firelogs and firestarters, and educate the public on the benefits of recycling.

This fun-filled day will feature events for people of all ages and include a kid zone, which will feature inflatables, games, planting classes, a healthy eating seminar, festival food, and a car wash. All proceeds from the event will go do directly to the Whole Planet Foundation®, a private nonprofit organization founded by Whole Foods Market, which creates economic partnerships with the poor in developing-world communities that supply Whole Foods stores with product. More information on the Whole Planet Foundation can be found at www.wholeplanetfoundation.org.

“In observance of Earth Day, we welcome Enviro-Log in our efforts to educate our team members and customers about the programs and initiatives that Whole Foods Market and its vendors support to help protect the environment,” said Mike Hardy, facility team leader of south region distribution center at Whole Foods Market. “Our nine-year partnership with Enviro-Log has allowed us to further reduce our impact on the environment and offer our customers cleaner-burning alternatives to wood, kindling, petroleum-based starter blocks, lighter fluids, and ethanol-based gels.”

“Enviro-Log has participated in this Earth Day event with Whole Foods Market since it started, and we’re pleased to take part again this year,” said Ross McRoy, president of Enviro-Log, Inc. “Both companies are dedicated to providing environmentally friendly products to their customers, and this Earth Day event will allow us to introduce attendees to our unique products, and emphasize the importance of recycling.”

Enviro-Log is the largest waxed cardboard recycler in the U.S. and uses the material to manufacture its earth-friendly firelogs that burn cleaner and more efficiently than firewood. Enviro-Log also offers firestarters, which are made from 100 percent recycled eco-friendly wax and offer an alternative to kindling, petroleum-based starter blocks, lighter fluids and ethanol-based gels.

Enviro-Log partnered with Whole Foods Market in 2006 to divert its used waxed-cardboard from landfills to be converted into clean-burning firelogs that are then sold at Whole Foods Market locations around the country. This is a true closed-loop partnership that is a win-win for both companies.
