WILLIAMSBURG- Colonial Williamsburg and EnviroLog have partnered to offer the HERITAGE FIRELOG for the 2021 holiday season. The special-edition merchandise offers a joyful aroma with a hint of cinnamon and is part of EnviroLog’s mission to deliver the greenest and most versatile fire logs to the market.

Each fire log burns for up to three hours and is formulated to conjure memories of the warmth of Colonial Williamsburg’s Grand Illumination and holiday spirit.

A lighting alternative to traditional firewood, the HERITAGE FIRELOG is composed of clean-burning, recycled materials and can be used in fireplaces, woodstoves, firepits, and chimeneas.

“Our senses are often the key to our memories, and we wanted to share the spirit of holidays past while also helping people create new ones,” said Kiri Franco, director of brand and licensing for Colonial Williamsburg, in a prepared statement. “For Colonial Williamsburg’s Grand Illumination, which takes place each December, the historic area glows with candles and firelight, and botanical wreaths adorn all of the doors. We have captured that scent and spirit with the HERITAGE FIRELOG.”

“We are very proud to partner with Colonial Williamsburg on the HERITAGE FIRELOG, which we believe is the perfect compliment to the warmth of Colonial Williamsburg’s Grand Illumination and the holiday season,” said Ross McRoy, president and founder of EnviroLog Company LLC.

HERITAGE FIRELOGS are available at Colonial Williamsburg stores and online. A portion of the proceeds from the special edition fire log will benefit the foundation’s missions of education, research, and preservation to ensure the stories and experiences of Colonial Williamsburg will not be forgotten.
